TOTAL VIEW: SECURITY Security is a major feature throughout Total View. Here are some examples of the facilities available.
Admin Managed Login Profiles
Lets you decide when users will change their passwords and under what conditions and how many failed login attempts are allowed before blocking the user’s account. Lets you control who has access to which features throughout the application.
Menu Profiles
Lets you decide exactly what features each group of users has access to. The groups are based on your organisation structure which may be imported from your case management system.
User Access Logged
All user access is logged, successful or not, and may be inspected by system administrators.
Challenged Access if not Involved
When a user requests access to clients, documents or organisations their access rights are checked (in Total View and against the case management system) and if not sufficient they are challenged as to why they wish to see it. This permits users reasonably open access but places an obvious barrier to frivolous use of records.
Access to Clients, Documents and Organisations Logged
Whenever a user accesses key information about clients documents, paper files or organisations it is logged, including their reason if they were challenged.
Database Field Level Audit Option
All field changes throughout the Total View database may be audited at field level. This is at the system administrators’ discretion and so may be applied wherever and whenever appropriate. The administrator may choose which fields to monitor and whether to monitor add, change and/or delete actions.
