Ability Equipment Catalogue - AEC
AEC is a web based catalogue that is integrated with AES. Which means that AEC uses the same data as the AES stock control system, and can receive orders directly entered via the AEC catalogue.

Equipment records in the AES database form the basis of the online catalogue, subject to them being made available. In addition, you can add more detailed descriptions, further images and even media clips such as instruction and promotional videos.

Vistors can select their preferred style The online catalogue can be multi-styled to suit your own style, but more importantly to provide improved access for the visually impaired.

The catalogue can be searched using keywords, or navigated via a structured menu.

AEC includes content management facilities for news, links, supplier information. There are also links to chat room and forum applications, if required.

Registered users can enter orders direct For registered users (such as Occupational Therapists) the catalogue includes options to add selected items to client orders. This makes it possible for the practitioner to view the catalogue with the client, perhaps in their home, and place orders immediately. Orders are recorded directly into the AES system.
